This month we explored Autumn, Harvest and Halloween in Pre-School.
Our home corner became a green-grocers and the children enjoyed using new and familiar fruit, vegetables and grains in their play, arts, crafts and cooking. We baked flapjacks and celebrated with a Harvest feast by making our very own homemade soup and bread.
Halloween saw our home corner become a witches kitchen, where the children could dress-up and prepare their own Halloween parties. The children enjoyed creating potions in the water tray and getting messy by exploring pumpkins in the sand tray. We finished the week by joining our friends in Nursery for a Halloween party!
