As part of our 25th Anniversary Celebrations, the Pupil Council planned a 1990's themed Week.  We were all transported back to the 1990's.  The children participated in many activities such as a 90's themed assembly; 90's themed quiz; 90's homework tasks; 90's Movie Day; Guess the teacher/parents; A Street Party and finally a 1990's themed disco.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the various events.  Thank-you to Pupil Council and Mrs Waring for organising all the fun the activities.  We cannot wait until the next birthday!

New Pupil Council Fruit Cart unveiled

Pictured with his self-designed Pupil Council Fruit Cart is Y6 pupil, Damian Quinn along with PC coordinator, Mrs Waring and manufacturer of the fantastic Fruit Cart, Mr Richard Thompson. Inspired originally by Mrs Waring, Damian designed the fruit cart and presented his drawings to Mr Bradley never thinking that anything would come of his suggestion. But what a surprise he got at assembly when his design became a reality and he unveiled the authentic looking Fruit Cart to a chorus of excited cheers and applause from his fellow pupils. The cart was expertly manufactured by our very skilful caretaker, Mr Thompson who was sworn to secrecy before the big unveiling at assembly. Commenting on the Fruit Cart Damian said

Sales of fruit at break time by the Pupil Council have been going well so far but we are expecting sales to rocket now that we have such an eye-catching Fruit Cart. Well done Damian and Mrs Waring. Keep those ideas coming!
