What a fantastic night was enjoyed by everyone who attended the Nevin Maguire cookery demonstration on Tuesday 13th September in Drumragh Integrated College. There was a palpable buzz of anticipation as the minutes ticked by to Nevin's demonstration  while those attending browsed the 17 traders' stalls sampling a wide range of goodies and crafts.

Nevin  had his audience enthralled with his easy-going manner and delicious recipies which he demonstrated to an appreciative audience.  Many thanks to all of our sponsors for supporting the event and those who donated raffle prizes. Thanks also to our ever  hard working Parents' Council for organising the night. A special word of recognition goes to the main organisers of the evening, Mrs Andrea McCrory and Mrs Emma-Jayne Fowler who were ably assisted by Mrs Denise O'Hagan and Miss Rachael O'Donnell,  for their sterling work to make the evening such a huge success.

A final thank you to our parents, staff  and local community for supporting the fund-raising event for our new school resources.

Nursery and Year 1 Admissions - NEW SCHOOL STARTED 9th JANUARY 2017

BREAKING NEWS!   BREAKING NEWS!   BREAKING NEWS!

Exciting News! Woodvale Construction started construction of the new school on Monday 9th January 2017. This has been long waited and it is the culmination of the hard work of principals (past and present), staff, governors and parents over the past 26 years. The initial stage will include a great deal of groundwork before work begins on the actual foundations. We look forward to the future with enthusiasm. We have always had the view that a building does not make a school (it is the school community that makes OIPS special) but it will help.

Nursery and Year 1 admissions are currently being accepted for the 2017/2018 school year which promises to be an historical one for the whole Omagh Integrated Primary School & Nursery community.

Exciting times lie ahead for us all, and Integrated Education in particular, over the next few years as our school continues to go from strength to strength. Our new school building will be the realisation of a dream for many, but at the core of any building - be they 'mobiles' or 'state of the art', lies the people who occupy them and the quality of experiences that our pupils receive every single day. We're confident that our new school building will only enhance further the learning experiences our pupils already receive and we all look forward with great excitement to the beginning of a new chapter in the continuing story that is ...

Omagh Integrated Primary School & Nursery.
