Spirit of Integration Awards
The 'Spirit of Integration' Award Scheme was designed with input from the pupils to encourage them to take control over elements of their own learning, their behaviour and experiences in school. The SOI awards will incorporate elements of the academic, moral and social life of the school leading to the presentation of the ‘Spirit of Integration ’ trophy at the end of the summer term in each year group. It is designed to enhance pupil's self-esteem and the school's culture of integration and achievement through a graded series of targets from BRONZE LEVEL to PLATINUM LEVEL with increasing degrees of challenge. On completion of a level, pupils' achievements are recognised at assembly when they will be awarded a badge and certificate to celebrate their success. Pupils, teachers, assistants, parents and governors are all involved in helping the children achieve their awards and celebrating success.
