Year Five's art is in an exhibition!
Some weeks ago, Year Five worked with a local artist, Genevieve Murphy, to design and create a piece of art, based on the story of St. Patrick. This was one of six pieces of work, which was to be exhibited in the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh.
On Friday 9th March, we attended the launch of this exhibition. We were bursting with pride to see our work on display! How wonderful it is to have been given the opportunity to have our work exhibited in a public space like this. The exhibition is open to the public, is free of charge and can be viewed up until the end of March. Next time you're in town, why not pop in and marvel at our work?
While at the exhibition launch, as well as viewing our work, we listened to important speakers and also got a chance to view the rooftop exhibition space, which contains artefacts from years gone by. What a busy and exciting day!
