Year Fives have been working on the topic of 'My body' during our work in 'The World Around Us' this half-term, and part of our topic involved finding out about the main organs in the body. We made connections with our work in Literacy, by planning an information text on body organs, to present the fascinating facts we'd discovered in our science lessons.
Over the past couple of weeks, Miss Eccles' class have been working really hard to publish their information texts, using Microsoft Word. We worked in pairs to plan, prepare and publish our work - so we worked on some very important teamwork and personal development skills as well!
The published information text is the result of much cross-curricular work and a lot of learning has taken place. Well done, Year Five! You should be very proud of your hard work - your teacher is very proud of you too!
