On Friday 31st May, Year 6 pupils participated in a number of STEM related activities in Omagh CBS. The pupils were led through a range of experiments by the Science Department, produced pizzas under the guidance of the Home Economics teachers, before competing in a nail-biting rocket launch during a Technology lesson. The day proved to be an enjoyable experience for all involved and gave the Year 6 boys an insight into life in a secondary school setting. It was a memorable day as the boys experienced the fun to be had in Science, Maths, Home Economics and Technology and Design. Thank you to all the staff at Omagh CBS for giving us the opportunity to participate in such a worthwhile experience.
