Year 6 and 7 pupils enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Navan Centre in Co. Armagh last Monday. As part of their World Around us topic ‘The Vikings’, the children had the opportunity to experience what life was like for a monk inside a scriptorium, meet some fearsome Viking warriors and even experiment with some Viking weapons! Our visit to the Navan Centre certainly brought ‘The Vikings’ World Around Us topic to life for the children and was a rich exploration of history for our Year 6 and 7 boys and girls.
