Hello and welcome to Year Two at Omagh Integrated Primary School.
Year Two prides itself on offering a caring and stimulating environment for your children to grow and develop as independent learners. Year Two teachers work alongside the other foundation years in order to progress your child’s learning and prepare them for the transition to Year Three and the start of Key Stage one education.
Year Two cover a wide range of exciting and highly varied topics while covering all aspects of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. Children are encouraged to ask questions and develop in knowledge and understanding.
Teachers Miss Keys, Miss McSorley and teaching assistants Mrs Murphy and Mrs Hawkes work closely to support the children and develop their individual talents and abilities. We create a friendly environment which supports the child and takes into account their individual needs.
Learning should be fun and here in Year Two we start the year of with our exciting topics ‘Birthdays’ and ‘All About Me’.
