Year 7 are currently learning all about the Victorians. As part of this topic, we have been finding out about Victorian foods. Miss. Hamilton and Mr. Hannigan, baked Victoria Sponge/sandwich for each class. This was part of a Literacy task in which the children took notes during the demonstrations and then re-wrote the instructions, in their own recipes. These will now be word processed. We all had great fun baking, tasting and writing the instructions for our Victoria Sponges. Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood watch out.
