Trees for Schools programme and Year 5
16th Nov 2021
In this the year of COP26 when countries around the world are working together on Climate Change and protecting the world’s precious environment, the NI schools are doing their bit by planting a tree to celebrate 100 years of NI and COP26.
We have been gifted a tree from the NI Office to plant in our grounds. We chose a Silver birch which is a native tree. This was planted today with the help of Harry and Gareth from Eco Schools. As the tree grows and matures it will remind future generations of this special year.
