We have had a fantastic couple of months settling into our new Pre-School and making new friends. In September we had fun getting to know each other, exploring our new surroundings and learning ‘All About Me’.
In October we enjoyed learning about Harvest and Autumn. Our role play area became a Greengrocer’s and we played and got creative with lots of different types of vegetables, grains, farm animals and vehicles. At the end of the week, we made bread and home-made vegetable soup together, it was delicious!
We enjoyed an Autumn walk around the school grounds to observe the seasonal changes, and we explored and investigated leaves, conkers and pinecones in our construction, playdough and sand areas. We also made a scarecrow for our outdoor area, to keep the crows away from the daffodil bulbs we have planted for Spring!
