During the month of January our Pre-School children engaged in play and activities to further develop their knowledge and understanding of Winter and Cold Lands. The children were particularly interested in finding out more about polar animals and how they survive. We enjoyed building shelters, winter dens and exploring the different ways we can also keep our own bodies warm in the cold, winter months.
Our Nursery Rhymes topic saw the children explore new and familiar nursery rhymes together through song, play and craft. Our new class favourites included Hey Diddle, Diddle, The Grand Old Duke of York and 5 Currant Buns.
