Healthy Heart Day
Tuesday 14th February is Valentine’s Day, a day to tell those closest to us that we love them! In keeping with the theme of ‘red hearts’, we want to remind pupils how important it is to take care of their hearts and general health.
On Monday 13th February, pupils will bring home a ‘Healthy Eating’ themed competition for homework. Please return all entries on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, pupils and staff are asked to come to school wearing red and to bring a red fruit to school for their snack.
Teachers will talk to their class about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The school will host a ‘Healthy Heart Day’ Assembly and the winners will be drawn from the various competitions.
Pupils are invited to make a small voluntary donation. Monies will be divided between The British Heart Foundation and Action Cancer.
Let’s have a happy, healthy Valentine’s Day!!!
Thank you for your continued support.
