Killyclogher GAA hosted the Donnelly Cup on Friday 16th June. This annual primary schools tournament involved primary schools in the Cappagh Parish competing for silverware. Once again OIPS showcased their skills and talents and participated in many exciting matches in the group stages. We earned a place in the Corn Na Cheid Cup final (mixed) and after a nail biting finish against Mountfield, our superb boys and girls were only crowned champions!!! This group of boys and girls have shown great passion at every tournament this year and fully deserved to be victorious in their final attempt to bring silverware back to OIPS. Thank you to Killyclogher GAA for organising such a great event and a massive well done to our Key Stage 2 Gaelic players. This trophy is not only an award for the children who won the cup on the day. It's an award for all the boys and girls who attended a range of Gaelic tournaments throughout the last term of school. They have all been excellent representatives for our school and to say we’re proud of them is an understatement!!👏🏻👏🏻😍🏆
