Creative collagraphy in Year Five
20th Jan 2018
Did you know?
Collagraphy is a technique for printmaking. It involves sticking textured items onto a rigid surface and then creating a print from this.
Miss Eccles' Year Fives took the first step in this process this week, when they created their collagraph plates. Pupils sketched a design onto a sheet of corrugated card and then used PVA glue to attach twine onto their design. We can't wait for the next stage in the process - when we actually get to create our prints, but for now, here are some photos of us in action!
