Nursery Christmas Trip to An Creagan 2016

8th Dec 2016

On Thursday 8th December 2016 our nursery class enjoyed a wonderful outing to An Creagan. On arrival we enjoyed hot chocolate and cookie treats followed by a story called 'Little Robin Red Vest!. We then make bird feeder tree decorations. We went on a walk through the forest and found Santa's tree with no decorations, so we placed the bird feeder decorations on the tree. We then found a special gold envelope on the tree telling us that Santa had lost the robins vest from the story. We decided that we would go on a hunt  through the forest to find the different coloured vests. After we found these there was another special gold envelope with a message from Santa to invite us to his ice cave. On arrival at the ice cave a little robin was sitting on the wall waiting to greet us! How magical! We then entered the ice cave and met with Santa. He gave us all a present and a lovely wooden star on a string to hand on our tree at home. He said he would be looking out for it when we came to visit our houses on Christmas eve. We said good bye to Santa and headed off for our lunch. We went back to the bus and the bus driver gave us a bus ticket before we were allowed back on the bus! We really enjoyed the bus trip!
