Our Nursery Class has been busy celebrating Chinese New Year this week. Children were engaging in our Chinese restaurant role play area, building the Great Wall of China in the construction area, making colourful lanterns at the creative table, retelling the great race story through small world play, developing their mark making skills creating Chinese symbols and learning a Chinese song. Lots of wonderful learning opportunities through our play based activities. We all especially enjoyed our Chinese food sampling day and using the chopsticks.
