Inspired by the hero who is Captain Sir Tom Moore, Miss Eccles set her own special Year Two and Three heroes a walking challenge: to walk 100 miles. Guess what: the children have only been walking two weeks and they have already smashed their target!
We are so delighted, so proud and so honoured to tell you all that after adding together everyone’s distances from 8th - 22nd February, 2021, together our Year 2/3 class have walked ⭐️❤️ 114.26 miles ❤️⭐️.
What’s even more impressive is that it only took ⭐️❤️10 days❤️⭐️ to reach the 100 mile target - that was achieved on Wednesday 17th February! What a very special group of supportive and dedicated children and adults we have 🥰.
Mrs. O’Hagan and Miss Eccles have both decided to take on the challenge of walking 100 miles each. As of 22/2/2021, they’ve both clocked up about 67 miles each 👍🏻.
