Pupils and staff at Omagh Integrated Primary School presented Valerie and Alex Mc Kinley of the charity WWKD, a cheque to be donated to Air Ambulance NI. During September the pupils and staff walked daily laps of the school to help promote good mental health and regular exercise. During this pandemic the school management is mindful of the anxiety it is causing and the restrictions it is placing on our lives. A simple walk can be fun, it helps clear the mind and it gets the heart pumping! The pupils are also ready to learn after a refreshing walk. The walks will continue while the weather is suitable.
WWKD is a local charity supported by OIPS as it was set up in memory of our beloved past pupil Kyra McKinley. Air Ambulance NI is an important emergency service available to everyone in NI nut which can only keep functioning with our donations.
